D-Groups

River Church is a disciple-making church. One way we live this out is through D-Groups: small groups of three to four men or women who meet every other week for the purpose of encouraging one another in their spiritual growth.

A typical D-Group will be reading in the same section of the Bible throughout the week seeking ways to apply insights to their lives. The groups also include prayer, accountability and encouragement, and ministry to those without Christ.

We encourage D-Groups to form out of our community groups; we also just simply encourage D-Groups to happen! We need each other. We need to invest in each other’s lives, and disciple one another into greater maturity and Christ-likeness. Discipleship requires us to be intentional with each other, and to love each other sacrificially.
