Go Team

The Go Team is a key component to River Church. This team follows up with people who visit on Sunday nights, welcoming them to River and answering any questions a new person might have. Their goal is to build a relationship and enable other relationships for everyone who comes to River.

Children

Because one of the goals of River is to help your family grow in Christ, the Children’s Ministry at River is a key component. Whether you enjoy rocking a baby or if you love running around with 5th graders, this is a very rewarding ministry. Having an opportunity to impact a young child’s life is priceless!

Hospitality

Relationship building is a key part of River and what better way to do that than with fellowship over coffee, cookies or lemonade! This team organizes the refreshments for our Sunday night fellowship time and builds a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Sunday Night – Celebration Service

There are so many behind the scenes tasks that are required to have our Celebration Service on Sunday nights. This team is really the backbone of River. The servant hearts on this team are exemplified in their acts of being there early every Sunday and staying late.

Imprints

Our Women’s Ministry, Imprints, is a growing ministry. If you have a passion for women and want to serve in this capacity, please email info@riverchurchnorman.org.

Intercession

River Church began with a group that got together to pray. It remains an integral part of our lives both as individual members and as a body. Whether your heart is to pray for the nations or if your heart is to pray for those in our city, this is a key ministry in which to be involved.

We Love Norman

River desires to make an impact in the city of Norman. We have adopted Jefferson Elementary and helped them in various ways (the yearly Family Fun night, the Walk-A-Thon, etc.) This team organizes the rest of the church into service projects for Jefferson and the rest of Norman.

Greeters – First Impressions

The face of River is found in these team members. Their focus is to greet people on Sunday night and once again begin building those relationships that are a key component of who we are at River. Whether it’s helping at the nametag table or holding the door for someone as they come in, this is the First Impression people get of River.
